Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: 2026-10-15

Our working baseline is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This site has not been independently audited, and this statement is not a claim of full conformance.

Draft for owner and attorney review. This text has not been approved for public launch and is not legal advice.

1. Our approach

We aim to make project information and inquiry forms usable by people with disabilities. This statement describes the current build and the limitations found in a review of its source code.

2. Features in this build

  • Pages use semantic headings and navigation landmarks. Inputs in the project form and estimator have labels. The project form connects field errors to the corresponding controls.
  • The mobile menu uses a native dialog with keyboard focus management and Escape to close. The estimator uses a native range slider, and FAQs use keyboard-operable details and summary controls.
  • Keyboard focus has a visible outline. Choice controls also have focus styles, and the notes field highlights its surrounding border when focused.
  • The site responds to the reduced motion preference, including static alternatives for animated drawings and scrolling content.
  • The design system uses dark ink on warm stone for body text and white on the darker red for primary buttons. These token pairs were chosen for text contrast; they do not establish conformance for every element or state.

3. Known limitations

  • This review checked source code. A full browser, keyboard, screen reader, zoom and contrast audit has not been completed, so compatibility with every device and assistive technology has not been verified.
  • Decorative house and basement drawings are intentionally hidden from screen readers. Illustrative room positions, finishes and furniture are visual only. Project choices, selected details, square footage, finish level and add-ons are also provided as text or labeled controls. These drawings are illustrations, not construction plans.
  • Some light placeholder text and form borders need further contrast review. Visible field labels remain separate from the placeholders.
  • External sites and any booking tools supplied by another provider may have different accessibility behavior and have not been audited as part of this review.

4. Report an accessibility problem
